When Rick offered to interpret my dreams I told him that I didn't have them or at least I don't remember them. But, Rick reassured me that it need not be a recent dream or a complete retelling, and so I told what little I remembered of a dream from my childhood. I told it expecting a fun and creative take of an irrelevant dream, but I didn't expect Rick to also expose a narrative that has been playing throughout my life that my conscience self has been ignoring. I was deeply touched by Rick's handling of this unexpected raw part of my personality that I have been running from. He has truly sparked an enthusiasm for interpreting my dreams within me. Thanks Rick
When you tell me a dream you are telling me something about yourself that you don’t know, but if I get it then you will recognize it deep inside you and often, especially for remembered recurring childhood dreams, it will be like a fractal in your life that plays out at all different scales and in all different ways.
Send me a dream, it may be one you had last night, last week, or one from decades ago, perhaps from your childhood. If you remember it now then it will be significant now.
I will contact you and we can have a zoom call. If I get something for you, give me something back, it can be money, but it does not have to be, it can be anything that can help me on my journey through life.
If I met you in the street or you did me a favour, and I said I would do an interpretation for you for free. I meant it. Get in touch.

"Dream work with Rick has been a game changer in my healing journey. As someone who’s been written off as “too complex” in the past, it’s been pivotal in honing in on what is affecting me in the present moment. This has helped target key areas to work on rather than the traditional approach of going in chronological order of life events. Uncovering the symbols in dreams from the unconscious mind is such a wonderful way to focus on what really matters right now. Rick is wonderful to work with, as he makes you feel accepted and safe. He provides detailed analysis of dreams, and has such a broad knowledge of different facets of psychotherapy that go hand in hand for a truly holistic approach. Dream work is, in my opinion, the piece I have been missing despite doing talk therapy, shadow work, inner child healing on my own, and Rick’s knowledge has been key to unlocking parts of myself I had forgotten or didn’t even know existed. I would highly recommend everyone do it if they can, even if they’re sceptical at first. "

I have studied Buddhism, particularly Zen Buddhism and practiced intensive Zazen as well as other forms of meditation. I have studied T'ai Chi under the British Yang Style Champion including sword form.
I am a student of symbology in mythical, religious and alchemical texts. I also have an interest in the role that phenomenological thinking plays in cult beliefs.
I have 135,000+ words recording my own dreams in my personal dream diary, I have the handwritten originals and I have them all typed up on 178+ pages of A4. I have been working with and analysing my own dreams for many years and I continue to do so.
I have had dozens of intentionally induced lucid dreams.
I have studied the role that nightmares play in PTSD.
From another life I have a BSc in computer science, which I got from Leeds University in 1985.
I am a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams.
I have had an ADHD-driven life of adventure, not a dull moment. I bring it all to bear in the work I do. I bring everything that I have got to the table.
Everything you bring to our sessions is held in the strictest confidence. The only cases where I would have to break confidentiality is when you or someone else is in serious danger or if I am told about serious crime.
I am non-judgemental. I understand something of the breadth and variety in what it is to be human and I accept every client just as they are, here and now, without judgment.
Dream work is suitable for most people. However it is not suitable for people with some serious mental health issues, particularly those which involve psychosis for example schizophrenia or other conditions whose symptoms include confusion about what is or is not real. However if you 'have' depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, grief, trauma etc, these are not obstacles to doing dreamwork.
Dreamwork is not counselling or psychotherapy. We do not set out to identify, diagnose or target mental health issues, we go wherever the dream work leads us. Although dreamwork is not counselling, or maybe because it is not counselling, it has tremendous potential to help you in your continuing process of psychological and spiritual growth.
